It seems at this time that may stores are in the middle of selling Back to School Supplies, and several of my student last year found that there were limited supplies by the time that they got the list. Here is the list early if you would like to get started. I have placed an asterisk next to items that both Ms. Rogers and I use in class, she is the other 8th grade Science Teacher!
- BINDER REMINDER* (You will use this for all classes1)
- PENCILS* (Sharpened please!)
- HIGHLIGHTER* (Color of your choice.)
- COMPOSITION BOOK* (Please start with a new one this year, we will use most of it!)
- 3X5 NOTE CARDS & METAL RING FOR NOTE CARDS -The note cards and ring is to be used for the vocabulary this year. There is a large amount of new vocabulary this year, this is a tool to help you better understand it. (I have seen at Office Depot smaller cards 3x2.5... these are great tool. You will be placing the term on one side and the definition on the other!)
- THUMB DRIVE- Many times we will start assignments in class that must be in a specific typed/graphic format. The drive will allow the students to move their documents safely between home and school. (Email is not always a reliable method to move assignments and it will be a great tool for other classes!) Students can use a 3 inch disk if they have one available also.
